I have never been one to carry a camera around all the time. So I have never been very into photography. But recently I have had a lot of time on my hands, and I have been wanting to build my Photoshop portfolio. Here's the problem: in order to edit photos, you need to actually have photos to edit. But my digital camera can't do diddly squat when it comes to fancy photo taking. Or so I thought. A few days ago, I discovered (quite by accident) that the macro feature on my camera works pretty well! So what did I do with the spare five hours I had that day? I ran around grabbing random objects, tossing them on my floor, and taking obnoxiously close-up pictures of them, of course! Then I threw the memory card into my computer, and had a heyday with Photoshop. And this is the result:
I am enjoying this way too much for my own good. Now I want to buy a fancy camera, and I am going to spend an indecent amount of time with Photoshop.
This is a problem.
